Looked up the word Baka which in Hebrew means “weeping.” I interpret this passage as always seeking God as we travel life’s ups and downs. Keep our eye on the goal of being with God in heaven. Life on earth is a pilgrimage and at the end we should seek to be in God’s presence.
APPLICATION:
In everything we do, we should be pleasing to God. We will have hard struggles in our life as well as happy times. Faith in God’s plan and thankfulness to God are part of our journey.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, help me on my earthly journey to always be strong in my faith and pleading to your eye. Amen
SCRIPTURE:
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.
