Welcome to the Bible in a Year for 2025. Intro to this series and resource links available here, plus here’s how I’m approaching this year.
Welcome to the end of Week 1! Congrats on making it through the first week of reading the Bible in a year.
If you’re caught up, enjoy it. If you fell behind, give yourself some grace, carve out a half hour or so—make a trade with your time as you’re able—and catch up today. You can do this and you’ll be glad you did.
If you attend a local church, go worship. Praise, pray, give thanks, and hear the Word read and preached. If you don’t attend a church regularly, consider it. The One we encounter in the Word is worthy of our worship as a community of faith and your presence will be an encouragement to someone there.
“But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” (Matthew 13:23)
