Welcome to the Bible in a Year for 2025. Intro to this series and resource links available here, plus here’s how I’m approaching this year.
Hello, Seeds of Faith readers,
Thank you for reading the Bible with me. If you’re reading along for our 2025 Bible in a year or simply enjoying reflections and verse references, I’m grateful.
I’d like to share a personal update. On Friday, my son Benjamin was in a car accident on the way home from college for a weekend visit. Thankfully, though he sustained serious injuries, he is okay and it’s far less significant than it could have been. For that we are fortunate and grateful. Praise be to God.
He has a fractured jaw and a fractured ankle and he’ll have surgery for both over the next week and a half. He’s home from the hospital as of today and is doing well all things considered.
For this reason, I’ll need to suspend daily posts for a little bit as we have appointments and such to deal with in the early going. I encourage you to continue reading the Bible daily. If you’re following the Bible in a Year plan that I’ve recommended (and have enjoyed many times myself), you can print a PDF of it here. When I return, I’ll most likely pick up wherever we are at that point.
Thank you for your prayers.
Guy
“But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” (Matthew 13:23)
