Welcome to the Bible in a Year for 2025. Intro to this series and resource links available here, plus here’s how I’m approaching this year.
Welcome to the end of Week 2!
If you’re up on the daily readings, great job!
If you’re a little, or even a lot, behind, please give yourself some grace and don’t let it stop you. Here’s my advice—take advantage of the catch up days if you can. If you’re getting overwhelmed, I’m giving you permission to cut the ones you’ve missed for now and start fresh on the readings for Monday. Better to not let a few missed days stop you from reading altogether.
Otherwise, enjoy the day of worship, rest, and renewal. One definition of Sabbath time is “praying and playing.” I hope you get to do both today!
“But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” (Matthew 13:23)
